But nope, not a single message, which just proves to me it's a total scam. I've been getting calls from this number a couple of times daily for the last fortnight. I picked up during the first call, and a woman on the line mentioned something about a frozen pension. I informed her that if I was entitled to anything, surely the government would have all my pension info and could handle it from their end. I suggested she should just verify with them and send any payment directly to my address, which they should already possess if this is legitimate.

Received a call from this number earlier today, and the individual on the line identified themselves as being part of some 'Review Team.' Naturally, I probed a bit and asked which team they meant, to which they replied it was the 'Life Insurance Review Team.' When I pressed further, they mentioned Legal & General. They inquired if I happened to have a Life Insurance Policy with them, to which I responded, 'Not that I know of.' They then insisted they would check my records. I can't quite tell if this is some sort of scam or not, though the lady I conversed with was rather pleasant and shared a laugh or two, which was a refreshing change! Often these types of calls can turn a bit prickly, so it’s nice when someone sounds cordial instead of rude.
