We only put a stop to calls that ring more than once without a message being left. For any withheld numbers, our phone doesn’t even ring. We’ve also tweaked the answer machine to kick in immediately when someone rings. At night, our phone is totally switched off; let’s be honest, if it’s really urgent, they’ll drop us a message.
