got one of those calls today saying “we've been told you were involved in a crash” - classic scam stuff. these scammers are getting clever, now using robotic voices that sound like a machine. if you say “no, i wasn’t in any accident,” it just comes back with “could you describe the accident for us?” i reckon they’re cycling through a batch of numbers, all from the same area code. pretty easy to spot once you know what to listen for.

Just got a call claiming there was a recent car crash involving me, but obviously, it was one of those typical scam calls.
