Absolute sham, I say! They rang me up touting a supposed discount from O2, yet when I made it abundantly clear that I wasn’t an O2 customer and requested them to delete my information, the chap with a thick Indian accent just wouldn’t take a hint. He kept droning on, insisting I was a cherished customer, despite my repeated clarifications. After having to repeat my request to remove my details about five times, he promptly put me on hold. At that stage, I was fuming and decided to stay on the line to ensure they got the message. Lo and behold, ‘John’, a supervisor with a pronounced Indian accent, eventually came on, urging me to calm down, which was quite rich, considering the circumstances. It wasn’t until I threatened to report them for the blatant scamming that he finally promised to erase my details! Classic scam artistry at its best. Steer clear of these dodgy characters and certainly don’t divulge any of your personal information!

Received a message claiming to be from 02, but I suspect it’s not legit. It seems they’re attempting to have a phone ordered in my name dispatched to my place, yet nothing will be returned until 02 provides some confirmation of its authenticity. Quite the conundrum, if you ask me!

I've had loads of calls from people saying they're from O2, asking me to say out some code you get when you hit 'forgot password'. I know their trick by now. If you get a code by text and haven’t asked for it, don’t ever tell it to anyone who rings you up right after!

Loads of calls from this number and also 02045874914, all spam as far as I can tell. Even signing up to the Telephone Preference Service and blocking them hasn’t done much good. Now I just ignore any number starting with the same digits. Another trick I use is just leaving the phone off the hook so they end up talking to no one.
