Me indicaron que, si seguía las instrucciones, el dinero sería transferido a mi cuenta bancaria. Además, me pidieron mi dirección de correo electrónico, y la verdad es que no presté demasiada atención, incluso me hicieron deletrear mi nombre. Al parecer, a la persona al otro lado de la línea no le parecía significativo, comentó algo como que no era relevante.

I can relate to that, though in my case it was a chap on the other end. I followed their lead when they mentioned I’d entered a competition to discover my prize location. Predictably, it all boiled down to them requesting my banking details to supposedly transfer me the winnings.

A woman called claiming to be from a company named First Prize - I didn’t quite catch the rest of the name, unfortunately. She mentioned that I had supposedly entered a competition, which is quite baffling since I haven’t. Plus, I’m on the Telephone Preference Service list. After a bit of chit-chat, she promptly hung up. The number that rang me was 020 4586 814.
