This woman rang me up saying I’d just bagged 100 EuroMillions tickets. When I asked how she got my info, she claimed it was from googleprizedraws.com. She kept urging me to choose some numbers, so I went along with it - then I told her to get lost. Next, she wanted my bank details to put the winnings in, even asking for my sort code. At that point, I just hung up. Be careful, folks!

So, I got a call from some bloke asking if I’d taken part in an Iceland competition. I asked them for their name, but right after that they just put the phone down. Didn’t bother with it and blocked the number straight away.

Then they mentioned paying £39.99 a month for 300 entries, promising my money back if I didn’t win. The caller asked for my bank sort code and account details to set up the payment. I told them I wasn’t comfortable giving that info over the phone for something I hadn’t entered. Right after, they just hung up on me.

Got a call from this number earlier but couldn’t answer. So, I rang them straight back and they said they were from Network Plus - some contracting company in Derby that handles water meters for Severn Trent and Hafren Dyfrdwy in Wales. The person just asked for my postcode and then checked a couple of simple details to confirm who I was. All done quickly and felt pretty professional, no awkward or intrusive questions.
