I just ignored the ring, didn’t answer.

I wasn’t sure so I didn’t pick up, but turns out this number is definitely some sort of scam.

Got a call from a number I didnt recognise, seemed like a spammer so I just let it ring out. Better to not pick up at all.

I didn't pick up because I'm pretty sure this number's dodgy. Definitely a scam, in my opinion.

I got a call saying I’d supposedly won an electric bike.

They said the tickets were free, but then started charging me £39.42 every month! Such a cheek.

Got a call from a woman with a strong accent, said someone named Hellen Kelly won a PS5 competition. She asked for my name, so I gave a fake one. Then she mentioned it was a wrong number but still offered me a prize anyway - something like 75 million euro lottery tickets every week for three months! Then she started asking for all sorts of info: postcode, full name, even bank details. I told her straight up she was a scammer. She replied they were licensed with Euro Millions or something like that. I just hung up after that.

Got a call from this number today, claiming I’d won free lottery tickets and pushing some deal for discounted entries at £39.99 a month. They even promised I was guaranteed to win. Sounds dodgy to me, watch out for this scam.

I got a call from 02045791601 saying I won some Coca Cola contest, with a chance at a mini fridge and even free EuroMillions tickets. Sounded dodgy to me, so I just ended the call. Afterwards, my phone flagged it as a possible scam. Definitely not falling for that one!

Got a call claiming I was chosen for a chance to win £1,000 in some "Aldi promotion". They immediately asked for my bank info. I told them I hadn’t actually won anything yet. They said it’s an online lottery so they need my details just in case. I asked why not just post me a cheque if I win. They chuckled, saying everything’s done online and having my bank info is harmless since they can only put money in. I was like, nah mate, with those details someone could take out a loan in my name, then ring me up asking to send the money back! Honestly, felt like they fell for my bluff.

They cut the line as soon as I picked up!

Got a call from 4579 1601 saying I’d won tickets. Sounded pretty legit at first and even warned me not to give out my bank details. But then they started asking which bank I use and tried to get my account info. I didn’t fall for it, cos I know these kind of calls are often scams trying to trick you.

Tried asking this caller who they were on several occasions, but they chose to stay mum. There was an awkward pause that lasted several seconds before they finally hung up. It got to the point where I had to block this irritating nuisance.

A bloke named Shaun called me saying I’d won free lottery tickets, but then he started asking for my bank info. Pretty fishy if you ask me.

Received a call today claiming I’d won a prize in a contest I did enter, but then they asked for my bank info. I told them I wasn’t sure about my details, and the person said they could hold while I checked online. I said I’d lost my login info (which wasn’t true, just felt uneasy giving out info) and then the caller just disconnected! The prize was supposed to be vouchers anyway, so asking for bank info didn’t feel right. Just warning everyone to watch out! x

Over the last couple of days, I got three missed calls from the same number. The third caller even left a voicemail, but it was empty since I had already blocked them. They’re definitely staying blocked from now on.

This number 020 4579 4600 kept ringing me non-stop, and when I finally picked up, the person on the other end was really pushy and aggressive, demanding my personal info but wouldn't say why. Feels like a total scam, so be careful and don’t give them any details! Definitely sketchy and dodgy behaviour.

Got two calls this morning, the first was about Virgin Media, and then another one saying I’d won an iPhone. Quite strange really.

Everything sounded legit at first - I recently got Sky Q (it’s a bit of a long tale) - and nothing really made me suspicious, I was fine with their T&Cs and all. But then they asked if I had a UK bank or building society account, and I asked if they already had that info. Next thing, the call just dropped :/ Bit odd, right? Oh, and just so you know, my partner’s been with Sky for yonks and has always had great service from these folks.
