I’m quite convinced at this point that this is a scam. I received yet another call today from the same lot, pushing some sort of wearable alert device. When I inquired whether it was the same chap who contacted me yesterday, he abruptly cut off the line. It’s clear from the previous feedback that they’ve somehow obtained our names. It’s all rather irritating, to say the least.

Call minder filters out calls unless the caller identifies themselves. Unsurprisingly, they rarely do and often skip leaving a message. On the other hand, investing in the BT call guardian has been a fantastic decision for me lately-it reveals who's trying to get in touch without actually ringing the phone. It’s simply fantastic!

I used to get calls all the time from this ‘energy adviser’ named Chris, then suddenly he stopped. Now a guy called John rings instead. When I asked where Chris had gone, John just said thanks for my time and just ended the call. Strange!

kept getting calls from someone saying they had tips about making my home more energy efficient. i told them i wasn’t interested but they just kept ringing again and again, so in the end i had to block the number.

Curious to see a review saying this number called about home energy savings. Oddly enough, I just got a call from them offering a free medical alert service! The bloke on the phone talked pretty nicely but didn’t have a clue about who I was, where I live, or if I qualified for the service. He hinted he was calling from Dorset but the number is definitely London-based. Tried looking them up online but couldn’t find much. Be careful and don’t hand over any personal details.

Some bloke named Alex ringed me up, said he was from the medical alert centre. He sounded quite proper, said his boss gave him a list of folk to call who might be eligible 'cos of physical disabilities. I told him I doubted I qualified and asked where they got the list from. Then, suddenly, Alex just cut me off. Seems pretty dodgy to me, especially since he knew all about people with disabilities and sounded so smooth.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from the Medical Alert Centre, suggesting I might qualify for some kind of medical alert service.
