Someone rang me but after a couple of seconds they just went quiet and then cut off without saying a word.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, offering me an upgrade deal. But I don't handle my own phone stuff since work provides the phone and the IT team sorts out any upgrades. When I told the bloke this, he just rudely cut me off and hung up.

Just got a ring from this number claiming they’re calling from EE in London. They said because I'm a loyal customer, they could offer me a cheaper mobile bill. They asked me to fill out some forms right then and there over the phone, saying they couldn’t see my account details. When I asked where exactly they were, they insisted it was London, but honestly, the noise in the background sounded like a busy call centre somewhere in India or Pakistan. Feeling a bit iffy about it.
