3 yearsFed up with all these pesky messages landing in my inbox!3 yearsI had a rather peculiar call from a company claiming to be Conclusive Financial. They were chatting about me being eligible for extra compensation linked to my past PPI claims. They sent a text suggesting I click on a link and hit ‘start’ so they could determine how much I might receive. They also mentioned sending some paperwork my way to help them figure out my entitlements. I informed them I wasn’t keen on clicking the link or starting anything, and I suggested they simply send me the details through the post. (They already possessed my name and address, mind you.) They then insisted that they couldn’t proceed unless I clicked ‘start’ to reveal how much I could potentially get. I shrugged it off, expressed my disappointment, and ended the call. The number seemed to be from London, but the company claims to operate out of the same area. Not entirely sure if it’s a scam, but it certainly left me feeling uneasy!London3 yearsI would advise you to look into the number +442045386602. Recently, they rang me with a rather dubious request to get back to them via text. They claimed they could assist with enquiries regarding PIP payments, alleging they had access to my information from past payouts and could help uncover any additional entitlements I might have. However, they asked for my date of birth, which I instinctively declined to provide; if they had my details already, surely that would be included! They proceeded to send a text, insisting I reply while still on the line with them. To top it off, they wanted me to sign and date a document and then email it back to them. Apparently, they would even mail me some paperwork and a cheque once they received the funds from PIP. It's rather alarming, to say the least!Submit Your Own Report (020 4538 6602)
