They also mentioned they could basically buy you out of your current deal. They asked for my email and details about my current phone and monthly bill. Didn't feel right at all, definitely felt dodgy and it was a total cold call.

I've been flooded with calls every day, sometimes even more than once, from numbers beginning with 020 4389... and 020 4525... Whenever I block one, they just ring back from the next number in line. Honestly, I would suggest folks get the Simple Call Blocker app - it lets you block an entire batch of scam numbers (like everything from 020 4389 0000 up to 020 4389 9999), so the scammers can't just keep hopping onto the next number.
