Got a call from some shady number, didn't pick up coz I didn't recognise it and I’m 100% sure it was a scam. Strangely, no one apart from us should have this number. Also received a call from a very similar number, 0204 520 4931, which I left unanswered as well. Both calls have been flagged and reported to Ofcom.

Got a call from an Asian lady, just like someone mentioned before, saying I could claim £119 back on a washing machine warranty. She had my old address and even my name. When she asked if I wanted the money sent to a bank or savings account, I just ended the call.

It was around twenty to eight this morning when someone called, mentioning my name. My daughter inquired about the purpose of the call, only for the person on the other end to abruptly disconnect! Definitely feels like a dodgy scam to me.

Without a doubt, this is a scam. An Indian woman contacted us, using our names and address. She mentioned a company we’ve recently interacted with. She claimed to represent a firm that was supposedly processing a refund for a product we were returning, and then had the audacity to ask for our bank account details to facilitate the refund. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Got a call from some scammer saying I was owed a £149 rebate. When I asked them to send me a cheque, they said they couldn’t because it was under £150 and had to be paid straight into my bank. That’s when I told them to jog on and ended the call.

I received a call from 02045204932 at 11:15 on the 23rd of March, 2022, and it was a right nuisance! The voice on the line was this robotic fella, clearly sounding Indian, and if I’m honest, the connection was dreadful. They were attempting to pass themselves off as some sort of official, but it was all a load of absolute nonsense. Just another dodgy character engaged in a phishing scam, if you ask me! There was a fair bit of rambling and the usual empty chatter - all very flimsy and frankly a bit of a cheek. Definitely wouldn't trust anything that comes from that number!

Got a call from 02045204932 at about 11:15 on 23rd March 2022, sounded like some dodgy scam. The voice was this weird Indian robot kinda thing, maybe from Birmingham or somewhere Punjabi, but line was terrible. Some stranger pretending to be legit, total phoney trying to pull a phishing scam. Just loads of nonsense and gibberish, all flim flam really. Definitely dodgy, stay clear of 02045204932.

Received a call from a rather robotic voice with a distinctly Indian accent - likely hailing from Birmingham. The line was atrocious, which didn’t help matters at all. This mysterious figure claimed to be someone they clearly weren’t - definitely a case of deceitful phishing!
The conversation was a nonsensical barrage of jargon, simply rambling on. Just a classic example of those pesky scammers at work!

It astounds me, as always, to see how these con artists persist. How is it that, in this day and age of advanced technology, individuals are still allowed to take advantage of the elderly and those who are more susceptible? If companies can sever your access to services like Sky or electricity at the drop of a hat for unpaid bills, why on earth can't similar measures be applied to these scammers? It just doesn't make sense!
