I received a phone call from someone who said they were with a market research company. They mentioned they were conducting a survey to identify the most well-liked brands. However, when I heard that the survey included numerous personal inquiries alongside the market research ones, I opted not to participate. Just didn't feel right to me!

I tried looking it up in a bunch of different ways but came up empty. Still, it’s clear I’m not alone wondering about it because it pops up on several sites. Upon inquiring about the identity of the caller, they reacted quite aggressively.

I was quite baffled by her intentions when she approached me. Later on, she clarified, saying, "I’m not here to sell you anything; I merely wish to ask you five questions." It was a bit unsettling because she had my name and address. Her first question was, "Do you reside at… (my address)?" To which I replied, "Why are you asking that?" She responded with a curt, "Thank you, ma’am. Goodbye." Strange encounter, to say the least!
