Got a call from someone claiming to be with Three Mobile, asking if I wanted to answer a few questions and get a chance to win an iPhone. They were curious about what phone I had. I said nah, and they just ended the call. They had an Indian accent and you could hear loads of noise in the background like it was some scam call centre. Pretty obvious it was dodgy.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media with a tempting discount offer. The accent sounded Indian or Filipino, which seems to be the new norm since Virgin Media switched to overseas call centres. Feels like a scam to me.

Someone called me claiming to be with Virgin Mobile, but it felt dodgy. When I asked for the exact amount I'm supposed to be paying, they couldn’t get it right. Honestly, real Virgin Mobile customer service can sort that out properly for you.

Watch out for this number, it's run by some real nasty scammers and creeps. They ring you up pretending to be from a mobile company (for me, it was Carphone). They try to lure you in with offers that sound cheap, but I told them no straight away, like within seconds of picking up. Then I asked nicely to be taken off their list, but after that, they started saying the most disgusting, inappropriate things. Honestly, it was shocking and made me feel sick. Best thing is to just ignore or block it, don’t bother calling back. I’ve also flagged the number to my phone provider to deal with.

ive seen lots of similar numbers from this line for shared costs, only the last few digits change. feels like the same call centre behind it. seems like a bit of a sneaky money trap to me, so watch out. id say better to just block it. anyone picked up from this number before? might be a legit outfit, but im pretty sceptical.

someone called me asking what i pay for my mobile plan. told them £6 a month with unlimited calls and texts, then said no way you’ll beat that and hung up. then they had the nerve to ring back and ask about my data allowance! i just told them to piss off and don’t ring me again.
