Received a call from an individual sporting a rather pronounced Indian accent, claiming to represent CarPhone Warehouse and offering me the “latest mobile device”. They didn’t even have the courtesy to know my name, which I found quite odd, especially since I’ve never had any transactions with them. So, I decided to cut the conversation short and hang up.
