They keep calling over and over. Whenever they can't reach my missus, they just hang up and mention they'll try again later, but never say what it's about. She still hasn't talked to them, even though we've told them more than once to quit ringing. Anyone know how to block their number?

Got a random call on my phone today. I chose not to answer, and after reading what others have said here, I'm pleased I didn't pick up. The same number rang my other phone too, so they’re clearly determined. Still gave it a miss.

This number rang me up claiming to be from a place called Phone Smart, saying something about my O2 contract. I told them I’d already had a few calls from them and wasn’t interested at all. But even so, the guy went ahead and asked if I wanted to renew my contract. I can tell you, I wasn’t very polite with him after that.

Some dodgy lot kept pretending to be me, insisting I had an O2 contract up for renewal soon (which I don’t), saying they're allowed to ring me. Got calls from 4 different numbers, same scam, same bunch. They didn’t even care when I told them they’re breaking the law by calling numbers on the Telephone Preference Service list since apparently they're outside the UK and can’t be held accountable. Proper frustrating!

Some woman rang me sayin she was from a phone company and claimed to be knowin her stuff. She couldn’t even say who my contract was with tho. She said if I don’t renew with her on the spot, she’d cut off my phone line. I called 02 afetrwards and they said they ain’t ever heard of her company. Definitely a scam, blocked her number straight away.

They claimed to be a well-known loan provider. Ended up losing cash to their scam. If anyone asks for insurance fees, avoid them at all costs! Legit companies never ask for cash before anything else.

Blimey! What a nerve-wracking experience that was! The person on the other end was shockingly impolite and quite confrontational. They insisted they were reaching out from the Citizens Advice Bureau about some alleged debts supposedly linked to my name. I told them straight away that I had no debts of that sort. As soon as those words left my mouth, they hung up on me without hesitation!

Some guy with an Indian accent called me, claiming to be from Virgin Media. Then started asking me questions about ####.

Got a call from someone using my name, said they were ringing from Citizens Advice about some money issue. Something about it felt off, so I denied being the person they asked for and quickly ended the call. Later, I tried calling back the number, which showed as withheld, but a recorded message popped up telling me the number doesn't take incoming calls. Bit strange since it’s a mobile number.

Something didn’t seem right. I got a call and a bloke said he was from Virgin Media. I just hung up and rang back myself. This time a lady answered and told me it was part of loads of calls and to press some numbers to go on. I just ended the call straight away.
