I keep getting phone calls from this number, alongside a few others. Each time I block one, they ring me from a different line! They keep going on about gas and electricity bills, claiming it’s solely for charities and that they can secure us some hefty discounts. The sheer number of times I've had to block them is absurd. It screams scam to me!

Received a dodgy call regarding an electricity agreement... I provided them with an email address for correspondence - didn’t bother to rectify their mistake when they recited it back, as that’s their issue, not mine. They’re now firmly on my blocked contacts list!

Received a dodgy call aimed at scamming our charity, and it seems like they might be phoning several others as well. They inquired about our utility bill, which is puzzling since we don’t actually have any premises to manage! Then they proceeded to ask whether I’m linked to any other charitable organisations. Quite perplexing, to say the least!

Received a call from this number today, purporting to assist in slashing electricity costs. Best to steer clear of them.

It seems like they’re masquerading as a charity purportedly providing assistance with energy costs to another charitable organisation (which implies they’ve consulted the Charity Commission’s records); they also left a voicemail requesting a return call. Quite dubious, I must say; in our situation, it’s clear that my charity doesn’t incur any fuel expenses in the UK.

Like others have mentioned, I received a call linked to my role as treasurer for my local Royal British Legion. It came from a London number, yet the number they left for me to return the call was based in Newcastle. I certainly won’t be pursuing this any further!

It seems to be a call centre operation, quite possibly a scam. They've probably snagged my number from the Charities Commission website, since I'm ex-directory and registered with the TPS. The mention of church trustees associated with this number further suggests that it’s linked to information they shouldn’t have.

I believe there's a fraudulent operation at play aimed at places of worship. The individuals making these calls seem to have been instructed to request a trustee. When I chatted with one of them, she inquired whether I felt at ease talking about the church's energy expenses. I decided it was best to hang up and subsequently blocked the number.
