This is the third time in two days I've had these scammers ring me. Each call is an automated message about some £300 Amazon charge and a £1100 payment to an international bank. They never actually say which bank they're supposedly from, which is a massive red flag that it's a scam. I've already reported them to Action Fraud. I’m planning to report this to Action Fraud. I checked out their website and it seems legit. The police really ought to keep proper records of every crime and any attempts at stealing - and scam calls definitely count as that. Maybe I’ll get in touch with my MP too? Not sure it’ll actually help but I guess it’s worth considering. If loads of folks complain to their MPs, perhaps something might get done about it.

On 31st March 2022, just after 11.40 in the morning, I received my second automated call of the day supposedly from the "Bank Security Team" claiming there were strange transactions on my card. They went on to explain a bit more before asking me to "Press 1 to cancel, or 2 to talk to an agent." I shut it down straight away. This smelt like a total scam to me. This number has popped up quite a few times like this. I've since reported and blocked it using the 1572 service as a scam.
