12 hoursAnswered the phone with a "hello?" but kept quiet. The person on the other end started speaking but then suddenly went silent too, before they just ended the call. Definitely felt like a scam.2 daysHeads up - I got a call from a bloke with a British accent who calmly told me my full name and address, saying he was with Thames Water. Then he started banging on about my insurance for waste water needing an urgent renewal (what on earth?). Proper scam, and honestly, seems like a right numpty to be trying this rubbish.Thames Water3 daysTotal scam alert! Someone rang, pretending to be from Thames Water, saying I had to renew my waste water service policy. Don't fall for it!Thames Water3 daysA caller said they were from South West Water, talking about some insurance for waste water and drainage. When I told them I don't have insurance, they insisted I did. I told them that's funny because I don't pay for any. Then, they just hung up on me straight away.
