Got a call about a PPI claim from way back in 2016. When I asked to talk to their manager, she said it was confidential and I had to confirm all my info first. Pretty clear it was a scam, but I enjoyed messing with them a bit.

Got a call from this number today. The person said I’d won a PPI claim. Seemed to know my old address and name. They then wanted me to confirm my birthday, which I did, but when they asked for my bank details I said no. The caller insisted it was for sending a cheque, but I told them to send anything in writing instead. Then they just hung up.
