I got a phone call from someone claiming they were from NS&I doing a survey. Right away, they began asking me about my bank accounts. Then it quickly turned into a bunch of questions about power of attorney, and nothing else. I told them I wasn’t comfortable and hung up. They told me I could verify with NS&I, but I said it was obviously a scam and ended it. This happened to me in Leicestershire on my mobile. Definitely blocking and reporting these calls. Marc.

I got a call and they claimed they were from NS and I. At first, I figured it might be dodgy or a scam.

This afternoon I got a call from 02045192428 asking for my husband. The person said they were from NS&I about their services, but none of the questions actually had to do with savings. The call dragged on for about 20 minutes, which annoyed my husband enough to just end it. When he asked who was footing the bill for the call, the caller dodged the question, so it might have been a reverse charge number. Honestly, I’d suggest just not picking up or hanging up as soon as they start.
