Phone number ☎️ 02045192384 👆 is reported as a fraudulent scam involving false promises of large PPI refunds. Callers, often using names like Ethan or Jennifer Brown, claim recipients are owed substantial sums but must first buy Paysafe Card Vouchers worth £100 to 'verify' or ‘secure’ payments. They may use convincing details, such as claim or cheque numbers and knowledge of local shops, to appear legitimate. The scam is not connected to any FCA-authorised entity, and genuine PPI refunds never require upfront voucher payments. Targets are advised not to share personal or bank details and to avoid engaging with such callers. Always verify claims independently through official channels to protect against these persistent, professional scams.

1 yearDodgy Caller - They asked me to purchase a £100 Paysafe Card in order to ‘verify’ my bank details so I could supposedly get a cheque for PPI. Watch out for anyone who gets all angry when you question why they need your info. They claimed to be FCA registered and said they were the only firm allowed to make payments, even though the PPI compensation scheme shut ages ago! When I mentioned I’d contact the FCA, they tried to convince me the FCA website was a fake and gave me a different number to call. I’m definitely going to report this to the FCA.FCA1 yearThis scam's gotten cleverer now. They knew my full name, where I live, and even my DOB. They claimed I'd get a cheque for more than £6,000 from a PPI settlement. When they asked which bank I'd use to deposit it, I declined to say. They insisted it was needed to protect the payment and speed up the clearance within a day. I said no thanks and told them just to send the cheque. Then they ended the call.1 yearGot a call just like the one mentioned earlier, with almost the very same amount. Total scam!1 yearGot a call about some PPI claim I supposedly made, even tho I never did anything like that. Total scam, I reckon.1 yearExactly the same happened to me; they said I had a claim of £6792, but I have to present a Paysafe card with £100 on it first. I know it's a scam, but I told him I would do it... but I won't. I just want to see the chap face to face and give him a slap.1 yearI got a phone call earlier saying I've been granted a PPI payout of £6792. They told me someone would ring me back tomorrow to sort out the payment. Weirdly, they also asked if I was well enough to go out. Honestly, these spam calls are getting right on my nerves!2 yearsGot a call from this number saying I was owed £6792 from a PPI claim, but I had to buy a Paysafe card before getting the cheque. The bloke said his name was Ethan and claimed a Jennifer Brown was coming round with the cheque, gave me an ID no 7329 or something. He even knew which shops near my place sell those cards, which was proper creepy - like they actually know where I live. Don’t get tricked by this, it’s definitely a scam.EthanJennifer Brown2 yearsKeeps ringing me up this bloke called Ethan claiming I’m due a PPI payout of £6793. He says he’s teamed up with the government to sort it all out. Mentioned a couple of firms - Rethink and Edward Hayes LLP. Then he asked me to purchase a £100 Paysafe card, even gave me a list of nearby shops where I could get one 🤨. Apparently, after that I’ve gotta call him back to confirm I’ve got it, and some Jennifer Brown with ID number 7329 will then send my cheque. The number he’s calling from is 02045192384. Bit of a pushy guy, this Ethan.EthanRethinkEdward Hayes LLPJennifer Brown2 yearsJust got a call from 0204 5192384 claiming to be Rethink Reimbursements Ltd, saying I’m owed a PPI cheque worth £6892. They said they’re connected with the FCA but I looked it up, and the company’s actually inactive. They used to ring me from 07418 354038 too, which I found out is registered in Kalkan, Turkey. Definitely a dodgy scam, watch out!Rethink Reimbursements LtdFCAKalkanTurkey2 yearsGot a call from someone called Ethan who said he’d send me a few grand. Only catch was I had to get a Paysafe Card first and ring him back, then he’d supposedly give me the PPI cash!Ethan2 yearsTotal rip off artists!2 yearsGot a call from someone saying they’re sorting out a payment for some old PPI claim.
