Since yesterday afternoon, starting around 4.40pm on the 27th January, I've been getting nonstop calls from numbers beginning with 02045 162 and ending in 759, 767, 762, 749, 757, 738, 761 and 753. In less than a day, they've rung me 12 times! Sometimes the same number calls more than once. Luckily, my phone has a call blocker, so none of these ring in my home. I've also added every single one of these numbers to the block list. Just wondering how long it’ll take them to get the hint and stop!

I got repeated calls from someone saying they’re from this "Residents green standards centre" over in London. Tried to look them up but found nothing, so I was going to report them to the TPS since I'm on their list. Feels like a dodgy scam to me. Around 6:40 pm, I got a call from 02045162753. It’s been ages since I’ve had any dodgy calls, so I actually picked up this time. Usually, I only get calls from family, so I stopped answering and only return calls to numbers I know, which pretty much stopped any scam calls. Anyway, this guy claimed to be my energy supplier and said he was local (which was rubbish since he was clearly calling from London). Then he tried to tell me my number was ex-directory and kept it private. After that, he quickly said goodbye and wished me a good day - well, it was already past day time by then!

Got a call at about 6.45 this evening, some bloke who said his name was Chris and claimed he worked for an energy company. He told me that, based on our postcode, they knew we had the old yellow loft insulation stuff. How on earth did he know that? I cut him off pretty sharp, said I was busy and had to go. He gave a quick thanks for my time - if you can call a minute on the phone ‘time’! Felt a bit dodgy to me!

I’ve got an answerphone that blocks unwanted calls, so thankfully this one never got to me. Been signed up with the TPS for ages, so honestly, I don’t think they should be ringing me at all. I used to be a director too. I’m telling my phone company to make sure they block any more calls from them.
