02045151455 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02045151455 👆 is reported as a persistent scam posing as O2, frequently calling from different numbers to evade blocks. The callers try to trick recipients into sharing a six-digit verification code sent by text, which is a critical security risk as it grants full access to personal accounts. This method exploits a loophole in O2's security system to gain control over accounts, potentially allowing fraudsters to order phones or contracts in the victim’s name. It is strongly advised not to engage with these callers or share any verification codes, even if they claim to be O2 staff. Instead, immediately end the call and block the number to protect your personal information and account security.

It's quite vexing, isn't it? Just when you think you've put an end to their incessant calling by blocking a number, they simply ring you up from a different line. It's as if they have nothing better to do!

Claiming to be from O2, but since I don’t even have an account with them, it was obvious this was a dodgy call. I hung up promptly and made sure to block the number.

They said they were with 02, but I bet they haven’t moved all the way to the Far East or anything like that. Honestly, they didn’t seem to get the hint when I told them to go away, even in fairly simple English.

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2 again. They tried sending a code to my phone and then wanted me to read it out. I remember O2 always saying not to give that code to anyone, not even their staff, because it’s a big security risk. If you hand it over, these scammers can mess with your account, buy stuff, and leave the costs to you. Best advice: hang up straight away and block the number before they get a chance.

Just got a call from this number claiming to be O2, but it's obviously fake. They sent me a text asking for a code to get into my My O2 account. I reckon they're hoping to order a phone and have it delivered to a different address. The message even warned not to give the 6-digit code to anyone, not even O2 employees. Sketchy stuff!

They claim to be from O2 but dont fall for it. Their aim is to get you to share a 6-digit code that O2 texts you. If you give them this code they can get into your account. Basically they are exploiting a flaw in O2's setup that sends this code to your phone as a security measure. So just ignore and dont respond, never hand over the code.
