I received a phone call that claimed to be from Microsoft based in Reading, attempting to gain access to my computer under the pretext of eliminating a hacking issue. The following day, I got another one from 02045099686, making the same request, and then a third time from a Newport number. I must say, I’m almost eager to see which area code they'll use for the next attempt-perhaps from Newton-le-Willows or Boston? Their dedication to this ruse is truly impressive!

Got a call again from this #### number, some woman saying she's from Microsoft and my PC was in danger or something. Told her where to go pretty quick. Honestly, I just wish there was a way to really put these annoying scammers out of business for good.

Got a call from some bloke who claimed he was Harry from BT Internet. I humoured him briefly and told him we don’t actually use BT. Then he started going on about how BT manages everybody’s internet and that there was suspicious stuff happening on my computer. Had similar calls loads of times before, so I just ended the call.

He then claimed BT manages everyones internet and warned me there was fishy stuff going on with my computer. Got these kinds of calls all the time now, so I just hang up straight away.

I didn’t pick up the call since the number was unfamiliar, but there was a message left. When I played it back, all I heard was some heavy breathing before the caller just disconnected. Got a call from a man with a really thick Indian accent saying he was from Microsoft Windows support. I told him not to ring back. Pretty obvious scam though, since Microsoft only deals with support through their website these days.

I answered and a voice with a bit of an Asian accent just said hello. I hung about, expecting them to say who they were or why they were ringing, but they just kept saying hello over and over. Eventually, they gave up and hung up. Feels good knowing I wasted their time and probably some of their cash too.
