I got three calls from the number 020 39977125. The first one was a guy saying he was calling from HMRC. Then I got a voicemail from a woman saying I hadn’t replied, or my legal rep hadn’t, to some HMRC investigation and that this could lead to serious trouble. The third call was the same bloke from before, telling me I had to respond and asking for my personal info. I told him if he had my number, he should already know my name. Also told him HMRC would never ring asking for personal details. After that, he just cut off. These were definitely scams.

Got a phone message from some machine saying it was Dennis Grey from HMRC. It warned me I'd face legal trouble if I didn't call back. Seemed dodgy to me.

I just had a call like this too. Can't imagine HMRC using one of those robotic voices, especially with an American accent! Feels a bit off if you ask me.

So I just got this automated call from HMRC that lasted about a minute, telling me to either ring them back or have my solicitor do it, otherwise there’d be serious trouble. The weird thing is, they didn’t give any details or even ask to talk to me directly since it was all automated. I’m pretty certain HMRC wouldn’t handle things like that over the phone.

I received a rather alarming phone call that pretended to be from HM Revenue and Customs. However, it turned out to be nothing more than a robotic voice delivering an eerily threatening message. It concluded with a blatant ultimatum: "If you fail to return our call within 24 hours, prepare yourself for the repercussions of legal action." Quite the startling scare tactic, I must say!

I had a call just recently where the caller requested that I jot down some reference numbers and promised to clarify the purpose of the call afterwards. Instinctively, I decided to end the conversation, as this certainly reeked of a scam. Stay vigilant, everyone!

Received a menacing call purporting to be from HM Customs. It was an automated message that screamed spam to me. I’ve gone ahead and deleted it without a second thought.
