I received a call at 7:20 this morning, which took me quite by surprise. One would think there are set hours for making such calls, especially at that hour! My first instinct was to worry that something unfortunate had happened to a family member. Quite unsettling, I must say!

Got a call on my home phone from a bloke who said he was from BT and asked if he was speaking to me by name. Didn't take long to realise it was dodgy since I’m not with BT. I ended up speaking in a funny accent and told him he'd got the wrong person, just in case they were recording me for some scam or something. The call had a bit of a delay before connecting and there was background noise like a busy call centre. Pretty obvious it was a scam.

I received yet another phone call claiming to be from Microsoft concerning issues with my computer. When I pointed out that this was at least the fourth or fifth time they’d contacted me, the chap on the other end explained it was due to my lack of response to some so-called message sent to my machine. Naturally, I inquired about this mysterious message, reasoning that if he was the one who had sent it, he ought to know its contents. His reply was that my computer was allegedly being accessed by someone unauthorised. I immediately called him out as a scammer and a fraudster, firmly telling him to desist from calling me again. It's crystal clear that these individuals are up to no good; I urge everyone to refrain from divulging any personal information or verifying anything they claim to know about you. Stay vigilant!

When I replied with a simple 'hello', as if I'd missed her initial question, she continued to ask the same thing multiple times-around three, if memory serves me right. Beware of this number, it’s a total rip-off pretending to be Microsoft. They call you up saying there’s something wrong with your computer’s system, then ask you to log into their setup. Next thing you know, they’re claiming they’ll 'lock it' and you gotta pay to get it unlocked. Of course, they end up getting access to your bank details and drain your account. Do yourself a favour and block this number asap. These lot aren’t to be trusted at all!!!

Somebody rang me up saying they were from Microsoft. I played along for a bit, then just told them straight that they were trying to scam me since I don’t even use Microsoft stuff.

Received another call from that number today, making it the second time this week. I made it quite clear to her that contacting this number is against the law, and her response was, "How can it be illegal?" I informed her that my number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service and that she was undoubtedly aware this was a scam. I urged her to cease all calls immediately before hanging up. What a silly mistake on her part.

I've been getting calls from this number twice daily this week, usually spaced by about an hour. I don't pick up if I don't recognise the caller, so I let them ring off. They haven't bothered to leave a message either. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I had this Asian chap on the phone who was attempting the whole Microsoft support scam. When I declined to switch on my computer, he wasn't best pleased and went off on a bizarre rant about hackers and adult content. I told him to shove off and hung up on him. Normally, I find great amusement in toying with these scammers, either keeping them on the line for ages or just leaving them in limbo. It’s quite entertaining!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, insisting they were sending me important information. They were almost bossy, demanding that I sit by my computer. They even had the audacity to threaten to cut me off from the internet if I didn't comply! When I pushed back, the line suddenly went silent. Clearly, not the most pleasant individuals around.

Got a call from a supposed Microsoft lady, told her to bugger off, she got really mad. Ended up blocking her.

As soon as I picked up, all I heard was a never-ending beep.

My elderly mum keeps getting calls from this scammer. No matter how many times I block the number, they just ring from a different one again. It's really annoying!

Got a call from some guy with an Asian accent pretending to be from Microsoft. I told him straight off, “You’re a scammer, not from MS.” He was like, “How do you know that?” and I just shot back, “Because scammers don’t sound like real tech support!” Told him off proper and told him where to shove it. He hung up fast after that. Blocked the number immediately.

Some woman with a foreign accent called me, claiming she could repair my computer. The funny thing is, I don’t even own one! Total scam!
