In the last few months, I’ve been getting loads of calls from London, all starting with 020. Looks like they’re all coming from the same bunch of scammers, if you ask me. I just ignore any weird numbers and don’t pick up unless they leave a voicemail. If they don’t, I end up blocking them straight away.

Total scam, I couldn’t really catch what she was on about but she brought up EE. I’m just a kid and don’t handle the WiFi payments or anything.

Some bloke said he was from 3 network trying to sort out my contract upgrade. He gave dodgy info and claimed they had my account info matched. Best to just ignore this number and don’t share any info (even if it’s made up).

This number keeps ringing my phone, but as soon as I pick up and greet them, they just cut the call. Quite frustrating, really!

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be calling from Curry's about some special deal on a phone. He kept pressing me for the price I paid for my current phone, which felt pretty dodgy. I suspected it was some sort of con, so I didn’t give him any details. After a bit of back and forth, he must’ve twigged he wasn’t going to get anything from me and just said goodbye and hung up.

I noticed a missed call from this number and decided to check who it was. After reading some of the comments, I’m definitely not going to return the call. The feedback here was really useful, thanks everyone!

This guy said he was from BT and EE, sounded foreign, and asked if I was having any issues with my service. I said everything was fine, but he told me plenty of folks nearby were having troubles. I think he also asked how much I pay for my plan. Honestly, he was really difficult to understand, and I told him that, but he didn’t stop. Eventually, I told him just to send me an email and then ended the call.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming he was ringing from Curry’s. He was trying to push some deal on a new mobile phone or something. Didn’t trust it at all, so I just turned him down. Feels like it was probably a scam attempt to me.

Got a call from some bloke claiming he was from PC Curry’s World. He tried to sell me a phone and then quickly switched to asking if I was interested in a mobile service deal. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Yesterday my phone rang but I didn’t pick up. Then today they called once more. I just let it ring out and later blocked the number. I always dodge calls from numbers I don’t know - that’s my way of staying safe. If it’s important, they’ll leave a voicemail, so no worries.

I keep getting calls from this number, some lady rings up every week asking me for my bank info to help out a mosque charity for migrants and homeless folks. When I tell her to take me off their list, she just hangs up on me. Honestly, best to stay away from this.

I received a call from this number claiming they could cut my bill by 40%. The moment I mentioned I'd prefer to speak with my local EE store about it, they hung up straight away. Definitely sounds like a con to me!

Got calls from the same number about 3 or 4 times daily over a couple of days. Even after I blocked them, they kept ringing back, asking for my credit card info. These scammers are really dodgy, so best steer well clear of them!

Today I got a phone call from someone saying they were from EE and offering to cut my bill by 30%. They mentioned I’d get a six-digit code sent to my email but first, I had to verify my email address. I asked why that was necessary, thinking the code itself should be enough proof, but they seemed annoyed I wasn’t sticking to their script and handed me over to a “manager” who repeated the same story. After going back and forth about it for a good five minutes, they promised to email me the code and call me back. Of course, neither happened. Pretty obvious scam call if you ask me.

Got a call from a woman with a strong Asian accent claiming to be from O2, but O2 isnt even my mobile provider. She told me she could send a link for 30% off my next bill. When I asked her for O2's official phone number and office location, she just disconnected on me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with O2, but mid-chat he suddenly switched and said something like, “We at EE really appreciate our clients.” He seemed totally confused about who he was meant to be representing. When I started chuckling, he accused me of being “very unprofessional” - a word I hadn’t heard before - then just cut the call off.

I got a call supposed to be from EE about a "special offer" for 40% off my bill. Honestly, it felt dodgy right from the start. I’m not sure if it was some random company trying to lure people in or just a straight up scam. The whole 3 minute chat was full of warning signs for me.

I got caught out by this number pretending to be EE, and I honestly thought it was legit. We spoke for a while and afterwards, I received an email supposedly from EE with a different address. They somehow got into my account and ordered a brand new Samsung flip phone. They made it seem so professional that I didn’t notice anything wrong until I spotted the email with the strange address.

Today alone, I've received seven calls from this number! It's rather alarming. Just yesterday, I had the misfortune of being contacted by a different London number, 02036735839, which turned out to be a dodgy scam attempt. Thankfully, I had my wits about me and managed to sidestep that particular trap. Best to block both of these troublesome numbers for safety’s sake!

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, saying my contract bill was dropping and that I shouldn't pay this month's bill because it's cancelled. I asked him to confirm he was really from O2, and he did. Then I told him I’m actually on PAYG, so there’s no bill. After a pause of maybe 5 seconds, he just ended the call. Total scam.
