Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft trying to fix issues on my PC. I was just having a cuppa so I thought I’d listen for a bit. The bloke spoke with quite a nice English accent but after a while he just gave up and hung up.

For two weeks straight, I’ve been getting calls from Microsoft or so they say. Today, I demanded to talk to the managers manager of the scammers, and wow, what a nasty, threatening woman that was! I’ve reported these scammers to Microsoft once again, hoping they’ll do something about it.

At 7.10 this morning, my phone suddenly started ringing and a woman kept shouting 'Hello, hello, hello' really loudly before just cutting off. Felt like they were desperate for me to answer. Since I’ve elderly relatives, I’d really appreciate it if the Post Office could stop these kinds of calls from coming through their network.

I just went ahead and blocked the number, no more calls from them now.

Got a call from 02039780053 claiming to be from Microsoft about some unauthorised activity, total nonsense. My work’s system is closely watched for any funny business. They’ve called before, and last time when they rang I asked for their full name and extension, saying I needed it for our fraud team because of their allegations. They just hung up on me. Now, I usually just ignore the calls or let the voicemail pick up - they never bother leaving a message. This has been going on for more than a year, twice a week at least. You’d think they’d quit by now!

There was silence for a bit, then this girl said she was from Microsoft. When I didn’t buy it, she just ended the call.

I received a rather alarming phone call from a man speaking with an Asian accent, claiming to be from Microsoft. He insisted that my computer had been compromised and urged me to turn it on. To make matters worse, he knew my name and even my address, along with my IP details, which he used to lend some credibility to his story. I made it abundantly clear that I wasn’t convinced by his claims. At that point, his tone shifted dramatically; he became quite aggressive, lobbing insults my way and implying that my scepticism made me an accomplice to cybercriminals. He went so far as to threaten me with blocking my computer and suggested I could face legal trouble under the Computer Misuse Act. I couldn’t do anything but hang up the phone.

I got a call on my home phone from a bloke who said he was David from Microsoft. The number showing up was 02039780053. I didn’t bother chatting and ended the call straight away since I know for a fact my landline isn’t linked to any Microsoft stuff I use. Seems pretty clear to me that’s just another dodgy scam call. If you get a ring from this number, I’d just recommend you hang up no matter who they claim to be or what company they say they’re from.

Some person rang claiming they were from Microsoft, saying my computer had loads of suspicious activity on their so-called monitoring software. I told them Microsoft never phones people directly and that the only "tool" here was them trying to scam me. When I started raising my voice, they quickly ended the call.

Received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, informing me of an issue with my system due to unauthorised access on my account. Given that it's my work laptop and we have robust monitoring in place for any suspicious activity, I was certain it was a scam. Really dodgy!

Sounds like the number was cloned or something. A dodgy bloke called pretending he was from Microsoft, saying my PC was hacked or something. I don’t even use Microsoft stuff, so I just told him he was talking nonsense and he hung up straight away.
