02039642950 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02039642950 👆 is reported as a persistent scam number impersonating HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), using automated calls with threatening messages about unpaid taxes and potential legal action. Callers often employ a robotic American-accented female voice, referencing an officer named Carol Jones, and demand immediate callbacks or else warn of arrests and asset seizures. The fraudsters sometimes spoof official HMRC numbers to appear legitimate and pressure victims for payment over the phone. Numerous reports confirm the call is unsolicited and deceptive, with victims urged not to respond or provide personal information. HMRC does not operate in this manner. It is strongly advised to block the number, avoid returning calls, and report any incidents to HMRC directly and via official police fraud channels to help combat this nuisance.

Got a call from a supposed HMRC officer named Carol Jones claiming to be from their department. The message gave a number, 020 3964 2950, and warned me not to ignore it. She said if I or my lawyer didn't get in touch, there’d be serious legal trouble. Pretty dodgy if you ask me. Definitely don’t ring that number and make sure you report it to HMRC.

Today, I received a rather bizarre call from someone claiming to be from HMRC using this number. They insisted I had outstanding tax payments! Honestly, it’s ludicrous and almost certainly a scam.

This number called me saying I owed back taxes. They convinced me to sort a bogus appointment for tomorrow and wanted me to pay half (£2000) right away over the phone, with the rest due at the appointment. They’re pretty clever, even pretending to ring back from HMRC using a gadget that shows the actual 0345 HMRC number on your phone. When I asked for a direct extension so I could call them back, the guy just laughed and said “you won’t pay a penny, will you?” Total SCAM, be warned. I’ve blocked the number now.

So this number just rang me up, saying they’d frozen my bank accounts and held my passport. It sounded dodgy, so I searched the number online and came across loads of warnings about it. I rang back pretending I’d pay, but after I called them out on the first call, they just hung up on me. Classic scammers, honestly.

Got a voicemail from 020 3964 2950 earlier today. The message was from someone claiming to be Officer Carol Jones with HM Revenue and Customs, speaking with a bit of an American accent, sounded quite robotic. They said the matter was urgent and gave a number 0203 966 0295 to call back. The message warned about serious legal trouble if I didn’t respond or hear from my solicitor. Luckily, my phone barely gets a signal at home, so it didn’t ring properly anyway. Did a quick search and yep, it’s definitely a scam. Glad I didn’t get caught out by that one!

After seeing the comments, I figured this was dodgy and gave the number a ring back. The bloke went on and on about some money I supposedly owed, but only let me speak at the end to ask anything.
