I politely informed him we weren't interested and ended the call. However, that same number proceeded to ring me at least ten times, which I chose to ignore. Eventually, the caller left five messages on my voicemail, asking for my partner by his first name and claiming to be from the local NHS. He mentioned that a male relative had passed away and urged us to get in touch with them using a local number. Strangely, that number belonged to an accounting firm! I’m baffled as to what this dubious individual was trying to achieve!

Got a call about loft insulation, told them I wasn’t interested. Then they rang back about ten mins later, still on the same pitch, so I asked to be taken off their calling list. They called again! This time they asked for my husband, I said no again. After that, the guy started sounding quite rude and pushy. Eventually, he claimed to be a doctor from a hospital with urgent info about my husband that he needed to discuss directly. The caller was really aggressive and even slammed the phone down on me! Honestly, I hope no senior gets tricked by this awful scammer.

Got a call from this number earlier today but thanks to my call blocking phone (love it!) they never got through since they wouldn’t say who they were when asked. Used to log every single one with the ICO ages ago. Even though I’m on the TPS and my number’s unlisted, I still used to get loads. A bloke called, knew my name and where I lived. He started asking about how old my boiler was. I told him if he thought his mum would be chuffed with him trying to rip folks off. Then he just dropped the call.
