Got a call from someone claiming to be from the Carphone Warehouse offering a phone contract upgrade. I always sort my contracts straight through my provider, so I wasn’t too keen. What annoyed me was that the bloke kept calling me “love” even after I asked him to stop. His tone got pretty rude when I made it clear I wasn’t interested and only wanted to deal with my actual phone company. Proper disrespectful.

It felt really sketchy from the start. When I asked them to send me an email, the one I got back was full of mistakes and didn’t seem at all official or trustworthy. Totally unprofessional all around.
