Received a rather bothersome phone call the other day. The chap claimed he was representing Carphone Warehouse, trying to persuade me about an upgrade for my mobile contract. Now, I exclusively communicate with my actual provider, so I found the call a bit suspect. To add insult to injury, he kept addressing me as "love" multiple times, despite me clearly asking him not to. It was rather infuriating, to say the least! The tone of his voice turned rather rude when I mentioned that I wasn’t interested in his pitch and preferred to stick with my own provider. Quite the experience!

There’s clearly something off here. The whole interaction felt rather untrustworthy, so I requested an email from them. When I received it, the message was far from professional, riddled with mistakes and had a rather inauthentic tone to it. Quite concerning, really.
