Then he tried to say all calls were recorded, as if I was the one losing my temper (which I wasn’t). I asked for his name and a reference number so I could check with O2 if he was legit, but he couldn’t give me either. Eventually, he just hung up once he realised he wasn’t going to get anywhere. I now purposely waste their time whenever I get calls like this - it stops them from trying to fool other people who might not be so cautious.
