Got this strange call about some competition I supposedly entered a few months ago, maybe between 3 and 6 months back. They said I’d won a spot in 10 lottery draws for a chance to win a 65 inch TV, and they promised a money-back deal if none of the lines won - sounded a bit too good to be true. The caller rattled off some of my personal info like my name, address, email, and birth date, which was unsettling. Then he asked for more info from me, but I wasn’t comfortable sharing anything further. I asked him to send me an email instead, but he insisted it’d be faster to check their website. Still, I pushed for the email and then he just hung up on me. They also tried ringing me three times yesterday, so I’ll update this if I hear back by email. Such a weird call overall.

Got a strange call from someone claiming I’d entered a competition a few months back to win a massive 65 inch TV. They told me I’d supposedly qualified for 10 lottery lines with a money-back promise if none of them hit, which sounded a bit fishy to me. What threw me was that they actually had my full details - name, address, email and even my date of birth. When they asked for more info, I wasn’t comfortable sharing any more, so I requested they send me an email instead. They insisted it’d be faster to check on their website, but I kept asking for an email, then suddenly they just hung up. My number got called three times yesterday too from the same source. I’ll update this if I get any email, but honestly, it felt pretty dodgy. Caller ID showed “Unknown Lotto company”.

Received a call from this number, it was some sort of recording that said thanks for contacting Loto Direct. Definitely a scam.
