Got a call around 5.50pm, right when I was about to have my tea. The person kept going on about some "once in a lifetime" opportunity! Then they asked if I was over 18, which is a bit odd since I'm 65! I told them I wasn’t really convinced by this so-called "once in a lifetime" thing, saying at my age I’ve already had plenty of chances. After that, they just hung up on me!

Had three calls all on the same day from some lot saying I’d won a holiday prize, then they switched to chatting about free entries to the Euro lottery. I just hung up and blocked the number - would say you should do that too.

They claimed I’d won 10 free lottery entries and tried to hook me in by saying it was only £39 a month for a syndicate. Then straight away they asked for my card number, expiry date and the 3 digits on the back! As if I’m daft enough to fall for that! Honestly, do they think nobody has common sense these days?
