7 yearsI got a call from someone saying I’d won a competition I apparently entered, and they rattled off my name, date of birth, address, and email. I was pretty confused but played along, then they started talking about joining a syndicate where I supposedly get free entries and a refund if I don’t win. That’s when I ended the call - definitely a total scam.7 yearsTotal scam, saying you’ve won the lottery. They want your bank info then block you outta nowhere. When I finally answered, the person just claimed to be from the lottery and then immediately ended the call. Strange behaviour.7 yearsGot a call from some call centre claiming i’d won a holiday. The guy started going on about how i’d also get free entries to the EuroMillions draw and if i didn’t win, they’d refund me and give more free entries. When he asked for my info, i was like, “what’s the catch?” After pushing a bit, he finally admitted i’d have to pay over thirty quid a month to keep the “free” tickets. I told him i wasn’t interested and asked them to stop ringing. But this number's called me seven times in the last couple of days, most of them i didn’t even pick up.
