A bloke rang up saying he was from my life insurance company. When I mentioned I wasn’t interested and pointed out he’d got my age all wrong, he just went ‘yeah, whatever, it’s your policy’ and then just cut me off!

Called back but nobody answered, really hope the police step in soon before someone takes matters into their own hands...

Just thought I’d mention, sounds like the scammer might’ve been in a crash or something.

She kicked off with “Our system shows you were involved in an accident within the last three years - is that correct?” I just replied with “Possibly? Isn’t that why you’re ringing me?” Then, inevitably, it switches to a recorded voice saying something like, “Apologies, we must have made a mistake, we’ll take your details off our list. Have a good day!”

I received a rather unwelcome phone call from someone who asserted he was representing an insurance firm. He was keen on pushing life insurance on me, even suggesting a reduction on my premiums, but insisted that he needed to examine my existing policy first. I made it quite clear that I wasn't interested and kindly requested that he refrain from contacting me in the future.

Got a call from some telemarketer pushing life insurance. They started off talking about a discount on premiums and asked if I wanted to go over my current life insurance. Then, of course, they tried to sell me their own policy. Pretty typical sales pitch really.

I got a call from a friendly sounding woman who told me someone said I’d been in an accident. I haven’t been in one, and I wasn’t exactly kind when I told her that.

Got a call from them trying to push me into renewing my cover since apparently my manufacturer warranty has run out. Thing is, that warranty ended ages ago and we’re already covered by a different insurer, but under my partner’s account. I could tell straight away she was having a go.

I received a call from this number but chose not to pick up. They didn’t bother leaving a voicemail either. Seems fishy-could very well be a scam or some sort of spam.

I decided to ring this number again, and it turns out it’s peddling "claims management" services. Quite amusing really, considering I've never so much as had a scratch from a car accident. Total spam, if you ask me!

Received a call inquiring about whether I’d been involved in a mishap. I simply greeted them with a “hello,” and they promptly cut the line. Quite odd, really!

I received a call at 18:57 but couldn’t pick up in time. They left a voicemail assuring me that my number would be taken out of their database.
