Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying i was in a car crash. Told him i wasnt and he then went on about some family member being in an accident. Told him no and called him a scammer. He just hung up after that. What a waste of time these scams are!

(I accidentally put this comment under the wrong number initially, so here it goes for the correct one) My little sister got a call from this bloke, and when she asked why he was ringing, I grabbed the phone. Told him she’s only 15 so he really shouldn’t be calling her. Then he goes on to say he’s 12 and the manager, and weirdly asked when she’d turn 18 so he could marry her… totally creepy.

Somebody called saying they were from claims direct about a small accident but when I asked for details like when and where, they just said sometime last year! Best to stay away.

I got a call from this number yesterday and they were asking for a Thomas. When I told them there’s no Mr Thomas here, they said I must have the wrong number. When I tried to find out who was calling, the person just hung up. The guy had a really strong Indian accent.

They said they were from the MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) at first, but when I questioned them they changed it to UK Claims Company. Dumb move on their part, because the number actually rings straight through to their office. Go ahead and give them a bell if you want.
