Got a call from this number the other day, with a weird prerecorded voice claiming to be from the tax office, saying HMRC were lookin into me for some tax dodging. They told me if I didn’t hit button 1, I’d be nicked in a few days. Classic scam stuff, really annoying!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with ‘Advantage’ regarding my energy usage after I had insulation installed. Straight away they wanted all my personal details. I told them “I’m not sure I follow” and “Sorry, can you explain what this is about?” then he just cut me off. Felt really pushy and a bit dodgy. I’ve blocked the number and reported it.

The moment I mentioned it had been less than a year, he just hung up. Seems like he was trying to sell double glazing. Since Safestyle UK isn’t allowed to contact me anymore, this might be one of those other big glazing firms.
