Got a call from someone pretending to be Lloyds about fraud on my app. The thing is, I never got any alert or message from the real app. Felt fishy straight away! Definitely a scam, they shouldn't be calling like that.

I was a bit wary because my phone flagged it as spam, but it turned out to be Lloyds Bank calling about a dodgy payment on a site named orats.com. They asked for my date of birth, which I thought was standard, and nothing else personal. The call lasted about four minutes, and they ended up cancelling my old card - the one linked to that suspicious charge. I reckon my details must have been leaked from some website where I’d saved them.

Got a call earlier today from someone saying they were from my bank, checking on a card payment that didn’t go through. They told me I didn’t have to give any personal details, then suddenly asked for my birthday. I ended the call right away.

We got two calls for our daughter, but she hasn't lived here in ages, and they even used her married name!

They rang me a few times, and I finally picked up on the third call. It was one of those automated voices saying my name and my bank, claiming a payment had been refused. After that, I got some dodgy texts from another number. I also noticed someone tried to make a £0 transaction with my bank info, but luckily my bank stopped it straight away.

I got a call and a text from this number, they left a voicemail saying a payment got rejected by my bank and asked me to reply 'yes' or 'no' if I made the transaction, otherwise my card would get blocked. I looked up the number and it seems like a scam, so I just blocked it straight away. Not sure where they got my phone number from though?

Got a phonecall from someone claiming to be Lloyds Bank, asking if I’d just used my card this evening, which I actually had. They told me they’d cancelled the transaction. But after checking out Who Called Me and seeing what others said, I decided not to ring them back.

I keep getting this annoying voicemail from some supposed person. I blocked the number straight away. The message says something about my card being declined and asks me to press any key to do a fraud check. It’s some call from “Megan Jade Maynard” who claims she’s from Halifax. They say they need to verify if I tried to make a payment that wasn’t accepted. Then they want me to ring them back ASAP on +44 203996741. Sounds fishy to me!
