BEWARE of calls from 020 3909 6733 - IT’S A BANK SCAM. They left a message on my voicemail claiming there was suspicious activity on my card, which is total rubbish because my bank never rings me directly. I was lucky that my iPhone flagged the call as “Possible Scam.” Please inform anyone who might not be familiar with these tricks and report this number straight away. Don’t trust any calls from 020 3909 6733 - it’s definitely a scam!

My in laws just got a call from this number and they were terrified! The caller claimed their son - gave his full name - had a heart attack, then just cut off. Honestly, these scam artists have zero morals. Watch out for stuff like this, it’s horrible 😡

Got a message from this number claiming to be Lloyds, asking me if I’d allowed a payment and to reply yes or no. I didn’t reply, instead I checked my bank app and phoned them straight away. Turns out it was a scam. They did know the last 4 digits of my card but messed up my name. Luckily, my bank had already frozen the card and stopped any payments. Weirdly, the suspicious transactions didn’t even show up on the app. This number also sent texts and left me voicemails asking me to call back. Watch out!

Like some others here, I got a scam call with a recorded voice claiming to be from Halifax. They somehow had my full name, even my middle name, which is creepy because I have no idea how they found that out. I just blocked the number straight away.

This was a pretty clever SCAM. They said “This call is for” and actually used my wife’s full name plus the name of her bank. Then they went on about how the bank had blocked a transaction or something like that. Really unsettling because it sounded so convincing!

They rung me on both my landline and mobile and even sent a text. The spelling and grammar was awful. Pretty clear it’s a scam.

Got two calls from this number, both times just a robotic voicemail. They said my name and claimed to be from Halifax. The automated voice told me to ring back to verify some transaction. Pretty clear it's a scam. I've blocked the number. Then, about an hour after, a slightly different number tried calling me again.

My grandma bought a Hoover from a telly ad and ended up signed up to BeFroogal.co.uk somehow. Lloyd’s bank noticed something odd and sent her a warning, but this number kept ringing her non stop. Then, an automated voice called pretending to be Lloyd’s fraud team, trying to get her to give personal info saying her card was used fraudulently.
