Got a call about boiler insurance, sounded like the usual scam ploy. I asked the lady what type of boiler it was, and she said Baxi - which I don’t have at all. I just told her it was nonsense and she quickly ended the call.

So, this person called saying their name was Amy and was asking about my boiler insurance or something like that. I asked who she was working for since she didn’t say any company, then suddenly the call just cut off. Bit weird.

Got a call saying they were lowering my boiler insurance to £24.99 and wanted to change my direct debit. I said hang on, we only pay £11…she paused and then came back saying sorry, looks like we already have the discount. I told her if she wants to scam me, she’ll need to try a bit harder and then I just ended the call!

Got a call from someone saying they were from a boiler insurance company, telling me I could get a discount on my boiler insurance. The problem is, I don’t even have any insurance on my boiler! Just a heads up, watch out for these calls.

Got a strange call out of the blue about my boiler cover direct debit supposedly being lowered. Problem is, I don’t have one. Funny enough, just yesterday I was in touch with the boiler company regarding an annual inspection to keep my warranty valid - I don’t need any cover plan at all. Then today, an email popped into my inbox from Trust Pilot asking me to review the boiler installation from nearly a year back. Makes me wonder, have scammers got hold of this info or is it just chance?

Got a call, but they didn’t say anything or leave a message. Cheers, Call Guardian!

Got a call about my heating insurance and boiler cover, he reckoned I had emergency cover on it too, which I said I didn’t. Then he claimed I was paying through Direct Debit with Nationwide Insurance. I told him I don’t even own a boiler and wanted to cancel the policy. He said he’d check on it and then just ended the call. Feels like a total scam!

Got a call about my boiler insurance or whatever it was. Thing is, they wanted to confirm an old address I haven’t lived at for ages. Plus, we never even had a boiler or insurance there. Definitely seemed fishy to me.

It kinda baffled me getting a call from Carphone Warehouse, I didn’t get why they'd be ringing me.

As soon as they said they were from Sky, I got really suspicious and just ended the call straight away, didn’t want to risk it being some sort of scam.
