Got a call from someone claiming to be from British Gas. They wanted me to give them info about my account. When I said I’d ring British Gas directly because the caller seemed suspicious, they just ended the call. Definitely a scam.

So this guy calls me up saying my electricity contract needs renewing next year, which I already knew. Then he starts saying it’s not a sales call or something. I told him I wasn’t interested, but he just said I wasn’t paying attention and then slammed the phone down on me! Proper annoying.

This dodgy scammer kept ringing us over and over, like 4 times in just 20 minutes, obviously trying to wind us up and trick us. Proper harassment, honestly.

I got a call from this ecosave lot acting like they were from EON electric. They started going on about sorting out some paperwork, but it all sounded fishy to me. When I asked them to take my number off their list, they brushed me off and said I wasn't on the TPS, which I know is rubbish. Then they just hung up on me. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a call off Energy Renewals claiming to be from my actual energy provider. It felt like a dodgy sales pitch trying to trick me into switching without telling me properly. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the admin and renewals team for energy, talking about new rates. They were really pushy and quite annoying.

Yesterday, I got a call from someone claiming to be from a firm called ecosave, saying they were sorting out my electricity contract renewal with Scottish Power. When I told them they must have the wrong details, they just cut me off. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Ecosave, trying to get me to renew an electricity deal. Never dealt with them before though. I explained I’m on the TPS, but they just said it doesn’t matter. Asked them nicely to stop calling me again.
