Got a call from someone saying they wanted to switch my electricity provider. I just said no thanks and hung up. Pretty certain they'll ring back though. Also, I think the number they showed was fake because when I checked with 1471, it was different. Seems like a clone phone trick.

i keep getting calls from this number claiming to be from talktalk tech support asking me to press 1, but i really doubt it's legit. i'm a talktalk customer and it feels dodgy.

Got constant calls from these conmen pretending to be from various companies. They said they’d already talked to my partner and asked for the serial number on our electricity meter. I told them straight up they were lying, and the bloke got really rude. Ended the call then and there. Such horrible folks - they really ought to find legit work instead of bothering people!

I got calls from this number, and they said they were from ‘Ecosave Data Management Services’. They phoned my elderly mum and dad, asking for details about their electricity account. Honestly, they were really pushy and pretty annoying on the phone. When I looked them up online, I couldn’t find any real company by that name. Best to avoid them completely if they ring you up.

This number’s definitely a scam, they first told me they were from EDF but then suddenly said they’d switch me to Npower! I’d avoid answering if I were you.

Beware of this number! They pretended to be from EDF at first, but then suddenly switched up and said they were from npower instead. Totally dodgy, definitely a scammer. Stay clear!

Got a call from some outfit named Ecosave the other day, they were trying to push me into changing my energy supplier. When I asked where they got my details from, they just brushed me off and said, "Just remove yourself from Yell if you don’t want these calls." Pretty cheeky, right? I’m pretty sure it’s not even allowed for them to be using Yell like that. Honestly, stear clear of these lot.

So I had a chat with Cicily and honestly, this call was legit. She rang me to check if I’d got my renewal forms because I was stuck on those deemed rates paying extra for gas and electric since my contract hadn’t been renewed. They were chasing me for days to get it sorted. Sometimes your energy company won’t even tell you when your contract ends, and then you end up paying way more. Cicily helped me switch back to a fixed deal with my supplier. Just thought I’d share - not every call like this is a scam! :)

Got a call earlier from this number, some woman named Tiffany saying she was from npower, but it turned out she was with this firm ecosave. They’re pushing you to change energy providers but actually you end up paying more. They even rang my stepdad and used the same spiel, trying to get his bank card info over the phone to “renew” his deal. Honestly, steer clear of these lot, total scams.

They keep ringing up saying they're from Eon and want to sort out renewing our contract. When we tell them we've switched suppliers, they start pestering us to say who we're with now. We refuse to say and ask them to stop contacting us, but they claim they can't do that unless we spill the name. We're not giving it to them because we're worried they'll try to mess with our new deal, so now they just threaten to keep calling over and over!
