I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, yet somehow this number still managed to ring me. They didn’t get very far in their pitch, but they certainly put in a solid effort! Definitely a scam!

I received a call from a rather posh lady who claimed that my property was misclassified in terms of its tax band, suggesting I'd paid too much council tax and could be eligible for a refund. She was very articulate and really made it sound credible, but then suddenly, the call cut off.
