They often assert they’re representing numerous properties in your postcode, which sounds rather suspicious, if you ask me. They go on to demand an upfront payment of £180 before they send any paperwork to the rating authority. When you push back, they refer to themselves as Affinity Legal and even provide a UK Company Number, 10364936, which, from what I've gathered, doesn't actually relate to Affinity Legal at all. Just a heads up: the callback number they use is 08081687888.
