I think it was just an energy broker doing their usual gig. I use a couple of brokers anyway, so it was worth checking out what these guys could provide. They actually offered a decent rate which helped me compare with my other broker’s prices. Ended up saving a bit of money, so I don’t reckon it’s harassment. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Got loads of calls today from different numbers, pretty obvious scams. I just let it go to voicemail, but no one left a message. Still, you can hear the call centre lot in the background trying to trick others.

They’re pretending to be an energy firm, but it’s a risky spam scam asking for your card info. Don’t trust those glowing reviews, they’re obviously fake. They ring from loads of different numbers, like over 10, so it’s defo a big scam using a call divert system. You can’t even ring them back, which just proves how dodgy they really are.

Got a call from someone called 'Ben' saying he was with a Meter Registration firm, claimed they were the only ones around. Bit odd cos I’ve had like 30 calls today from other ‘Bens’ using different numbers. When I asked how they got my number, he just cut the call. Real classy, Ben!

Something about a tenancy contract or whatever. This is like the sixth time they've rung me. My company doesn't lease that place. They just refuse to back off! The guy I spoke to sounded proper pissed off when I brought up the landlord - seems that question isn’t in their script and business owners are supposed to inform them. They probably scrape your info from Facebook or something.

Business callers. This is the fifth ring today and I had 12 just yesterday. Every time I block one number, they ring me from another. I've told them to remove me from their list but they just ignore it. Now I just hang up, being nice clearly doesn't do any good. This really should be banned, feels like harassment!

I’m proper done with all the cold calls today! This one lady wanted to chat to our business partner about some 'change of tenancy' thing. When I asked what she meant, she just ended the call straight away!

Really helped me out loads since I just set up my new shop. They told me they usually deal with brokers for car insurance, so why not try one for energy too? I thought it was a good idea and they gave me a few choices to pick from. I went with Npower and ended up saving quite a bit compared to my old supplier, Extra Energy. The call came from 0203 883 6971. I get why people hate these calls, but honestly, these lot sorted me out so I can’t complain.

I’ve had nearly 50 calls from this number and about a dozen others from the same lot. Spent ages reporting it to Ofcom and Ofgem but they don’t seem to care, these people have been at it for ages. I even emailed the company with a complaint, but they just ignored me and the calls got worse after I asked them to stop and erase my details under GDPR. It’s proper harassment and it’s shocking how the so-called ‘regulators’ just turn a blind eye.

Somebody phoned saying they were from Business Services, yeah right. They wanted to chat about the new owner and our electricity provider but we kept that info to ourselves.

Ever since I picked up a call earlier today, my phone hasn’t stopped ringing - I must have received no fewer than 20 calls from different numbers, and this one is just another in the mix. My partner has been doing a bit of digging and attempted to return some of those calls, only to discover that they’re all flagged as spam or potentially risky on his phone, yet they appear harmless on this site. Just thought I’d share a heads-up for others out there!

Had a chat with a really polite young woman today, and when I asked about her job, she told me she’s a broker for energy and merchant services.
