In August 2017, I forked out a deposit for a flight to Ghana, with plans to jet off in December. I had a conversation with a chap named John Martin, who happens to be Indian. He provided me with his personal bank account details to settle the full fare, but I wasn’t keen on that. He promised to ring me within a week with the proper business account details, which never materialised. By November 2017, I couldn’t get a response from them; their phones went unanswered, and my emails vanished into the void.
