Got a call today, 16 Jan around 2.39pm, some bloke telling me my washing machine service contract ran out and if I wanted to sort it, I could do it straight away. Didn't even bother mentioning the price, just said none of my appliance covers were active, then just hung up quick as. Honestly, getting fed up with this already, and it's only Wednesday! This is the third different 020 number that’s called me this week. I'm signed up with TPS, so what’s going on here?

Some bloke was asking for my mum, but I’ve had her phone number for more than 6 years now since she moved into full-time residential care. The number’s actually ex-directory and registered with the TPS. When I told him I was my mum, he just hung up straight away and never gave me a moment to tell him to remove the number from their list. Who are these lot? It’s pretty unsettling.

I got this number from doing 1471. Looking at the comments here, I’ve also gotten calls like this saying my Dyson vacuum was fixed and ready to pick up. When I told them we don’t own a Dyson, the person asked what brand we did have. I said I wasn’t sure since the cleaning stuff is my missus's job. That seemed to confuse them and they just ended the call.

Got a call from some place named "Vacuum Safe". They claimed my Dyson was over 2 years old and needed a clean. I just let the bloke ramble for a bit, then cut in with "my Dyson’s got a lifetime warranty, you’re not connected with Dyson at all, and how exactly did you get my number?" Pretty clear the cleaning wasn’t going to be complimentary.

Got a call from this number earlier today. They hung up just as I was about to pick up. I checked the number on this site and seen it’s probably some kind of sales call. My number’s on the TPS and I never gave this company permission to ring me. Seems like they don’t care about TPS or their customers at all.
