This number won’t stop ringing my landline, it just keeps going over and over again without giving up. It’s like they’re trying to drive you mad with all the constant ringing. I didn’t pick up, but I searched online to see who it was and apparently it’s a scam pretending to be Virgin Media! Lucky I avoided it. But how did they even get my number? I flagged this number as risky since these types of calls can fool a lot of folks. Got a call from what they said was Virgin Media but sounded like it was from some call centre in Asia. When he probed into what I use the internet for, I firmly told him that it was rather intrusive. His tone became quite aggressive, and he attempted to speak over me when I pointed out that he was likely scamming me. He puzzlingly claimed ignorance about what a scammer is.
